The only noise I can remember hearing from a hamster is the spinning of the wheel. Although it may not be uncommon to hear a slight squealing occasionally.
I found this info about hamster noises:
"Sometimes you will hear a single small squeak. We believe that the hamster is calling to another hamster in the hamstery, but a lone hamster is still know to make this noise. Also you may hear a 'terrible squealing when you put your hand in to handle a new hamster. This means that the hamster is afraid. It will not usually bite while it is making this noise. Pick up the hamster gently and cup it in your hands. It will gradually stop. It may take several days to stop it making this noise when you go into its cage but it will stop as it gets used to its cage and you. Some colours are renown for making this squealing noise, particularly YELLOW."
Voles make a small little chirps just like hamsters, guinea pigs, or gerbils.
, your hamster makes funny noises because all hamsters do, its usually i sqeeking noise, or it could be the toy he/she is playing on, my hamster makes a BUNCH of noise to, so i wouldn't be concerned
Hamsters do not generally make noise, but sometimes they will react in extreme situations.Screaming - when the hamster is in extreme pain or fear, for example if it's paw get's stuck. This will sound more like a squeak to humans, but will be an expression of great distress to hamsters.Sneezing - often mistaken for general noise, hamster sneezes are tiny and usually harmless. They only sneeze when ill or when they have dust in their noses.Snoring - it might sound strange, but I have had several hamsters who snore. It is very quiet and sounds just like them breathing heavily, but it is in fact snoring. They don't make a lot a nosie, but they might make a squeek nosie sometimes.
Hamsters arnt used to noise so when your around a hamster make sure a baby or yourself arnt sreaming or shouting because the hamster will become stressed and annoyyed and wil try to run away and escape and you would not want that to happen because you might not acctually see your hamster again which will be upsetting for you.

They don't make a noise to human ears but there is a possibility that they might makes noises to eachother.

Hamsters usually do make a lot of noise. They chew on the bars of the cage, their wheel may be squeaky, and their digging often is noisy. If you get a good hamster wheel and a cage without bars, then your hamster is probably alright to be in your room.
Hamsters can catch colds just like humans can. Also, not getting enough water, too much noise, being too cold or too hot, or tumors can make them sick.
When hamsters roll in the wheel it makes a noise, but only a very quiet one. If the hamster bumps into things ( which happens a lot ) it makes loud noises. If noise bothers you, hamster wheels on stands are available.
They make a squeaking noise when they fight and make a soft squeak when they like the other hamster's company when the hamster's are Campbell dwarf hamsters. Enjoy! source(s): I own 5 dwarf Camp Bell hamsters.
