NO. I know that because I am allergic to some dogs.
"Hypoallergenic dogs" are those that shed very little because it is thought that they produce and expose less dander, which is what causes allergies in humans. Examples include; Maltese, Poodle, Airedale Terrier, Schnauzer, and more. Yes, Havanese are considered a hypoallergenic breed because they have a single-layered coat that sheds very little. However, no dog breed is completely allergy-free, so individual reactions can still vary. Regular grooming and bathing can help reduce allergens.

No, basset hounds are not considered hypoallergenic. They shed a moderate amount and produce dander, which can trigger allergies in some individuals. Regular grooming and cleaning can help reduce allergens in the environment.
There is no such thing as a completely "hypoallergenic dog" because all dogs have dander, and that's what causes an allergic reactions in affected humans. However, low shedding dogs typically produce less dander and since they don't shed much, they also expose the owner to less dander, which decreases the risk of an allergic reaction in humans. poodles are hypoallergenicAnother viewThere is really no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog but the dogs that don't shed don't "lose" as much dander.
No, these people are allergic to hypoallergenic dogs as much as they are to any other dogs. These dogs are only referred to as hypoallergenic because they hardly moult at all, and are hence less likely to trigger an allergic reaction.

Bullmastiffs don't shed a lot, but they do require regular grooming. Their short hair can be cleaned easily with a bristle brush and they should only be bathed when it's needed; after a romp in the mud or swimming.
All dogs shed fur. Some dogs shed a lot and some not as much. It depends on the breed. But, Maltese/Shih-Tzu mixes don't shed much. You can't tell when they shed though, because their fur is so thin that it seems like nothing.
