I watched one afternoon a fox digging up and eating blue bell bulbs, he/she was there for some time I was sure that there were a number of other delights there as well as this was almost directly underneath a giant oak.

It is poisonous to rabbits so if you want to grow them in your garden grow them in a pot or nowhere near the rabbits.
