Absolutely not. Tigers attack people for specific reasons, although sometimes these reasons are not clear at first. You could be in the tiger's terriotory and the tiger feels threatened by this. How would you like it if somebody randomly came walking into your home? Also, you could be near its food and the tiger is protecting its hard-earned meal. I don't think I would like the idea of somebody taking all of the food I just bought off the shelf. The most likely reason is that you are near its young. Animals, especially carnivores, are extremely protective of their children. Lastly, the poor tiger could have just had a bad day and is extremely agitated. We've all had them. Perhaps this tiger recently lost one of her cubs to the foot of an elephant and is in depression. Now some know it all human with his fancy gun comes near her cave where she is keeping her remaining cub. She obviously would fight for her life to keep her only cub alive, now that she has already lost one. So, to wrap it up, tigers attack humans for very noble reasons, once you step into their shoes...uh, paws. They do not kill for the sake of killing.
