I had a Novasure endometrial ablation done over a month ago and I have been bleeding ever since. I'm finishing my second round of two antibiotics and still experiencing pain, fever coming and going and bleeding that has gone from heavy, light and now back to very heavy. I am scheduled for an MRI next week to try to figure out why this is happening. Very disappointing. This was not the expected outcome.
Female sterilization normally involves cutting or tying the fallopian tube, limiting access to the egg by the sperm. A women still ovulates every month. Ovulation is the release of an egg. A fertilized egg is one that has allowed the sperm to penetrate.
Assuming that you are releasing a egg every month and have sex when you ovulate, very good.
