I had a pet canary that grew it's leg back. I was 10 yrs old and cleaning his cage. The chain fell loose and the cage dropped, trapping the bird's leg under the bottom of the cage. I yelled for my Dad when I saw the leg was hanging by a sliver of skin. Dad took a piece of toothpick to use as a splint, spread Watkins Petro-Carbo salve on a small piece of gauze and wrapped it's leg. It grew back by the next time I cleaned the cage which was about a week. Miracle? I believe it was to this day.
No it does not. And neither will a lizards because only their tail has the ability to regenerate.
Lol... no I think that's only reptiles...
Wings on most birds can take up to about four - five months to grow back enough to be of concern.
They grow around a foot a year.
depends on WHERE the nail was bit. if it was directly off of the foot then robably not depending on the damage beneath the skin. if it was only bitten off the nail then yes like us turtle nails can grow back. think of it as clipping your nails.
it is mutualism because the birds need the plant for food and the plants need the bird to help it grow
No, you can pluck the feathers from the birds, but it would be VERY painful for the bird and you couldn't pluck all the feathers from the bird because that would leave nothing to grow back.
No. Birds cannot grow back limbs lost in accidents.
Birds do not grow hair.
Yes they do! I'm not quiet sure how but they do.
uh no.
Ostriches can grow to between six and nine feet tall. Cassowaries are smaller, but can grow up to six feet tall.

how long for my macaw to grow back feathers on his head the mother plucked them in the nest box @2 weeks old?
no they dont but they heal via scar tissue
Yes. All birds will regrow feathers. Birds go through a molt each year. Molt is the loss of old and damaged feathers and the regrowth on new ones. If the magpie can still fly and if it survives until its next molting period, it will have a new feather to replace the lost one.
your foot continues to grow cuz its gud 4 your body
Sleeping birds stand on one foot.
It depends what type of shrub forms the hedge. With the normal hedging like privet or cotoneaster you can cut it hard back to a foot from the ground and it will grow back much thicker.
