depends on WHERE the nail was bit. if it was directly off of the foot then robably not depending on the damage beneath the skin. if it was only bitten off the nail then yes like us turtle nails can grow back. think of it as clipping your nails.
There are normally 3 nails on each back foot and 3 on each front - totalling 12 nails on an elephant. Note that these are not actually toe nails in the typical sense and are not directly linked to the number of digits in the foot. Apparently, Asian elephants have 4 nails on the back feet and 4 on the front.
Whether turtles like or dislike vibrations probably depends on the individual turtle. Some will like it and some won't. Turtles that are more fearful or aggressive may not like vibrations much. It is known that turtles do have a very strong sense of touch and can detect vibrations in the ground or floor easily. Many wild turtles use the vibrations as a warning that they should hide. Some friendly or domesticated turtles like vibrations and even being petted. Some turtles have been witnessed rubbing their carapace (the back shell) back and forth on rough surfaces or the fingernails of a person scratching them.
Turtles typically have five toes on each of their front feet, but the number of toes on their back feet can vary depending on the species. Most turtles have three or four toes on their back feet. Each toe ends in a claw, which helps them navigate their environment and dig.
A turtles claws arenormally in the back because they dig with there back legs and it is easier for them to dig with there back legs, like a dog. I have a turtle myself and have seen it use its claws before they are more like toes or fingers than claws. I could be mistaken because these are just my observations.
The movie in WITCH a dog comes back is probably the shaggy dog. He turns into a dog, not comes back.
They do not. They are normal reptiles that have blood similar to humans.
