Does the white tail spider eat the daddy long legs?

YES, they do!!!!!

It happened today, I couldn't believe it but I say the whole thing. A white tail ran across the wall and got caught in the daddy long legs web. The daddy long leg ran straight in and bit the white tail before he knew what hit him.

The daddy long leg then stayed at a distance and started putting more and more webs out. The white tail got more and more tangled and eventually paralysed and the daddy long legs wrapped him up.

Tonight I had a look and he is sucking him dry. Mmmmm yum!

I would have never believed it if I never saw it with my own two eyes.

but i caught a massive white tail in my mailbox last week and im keeping it in a jar,and so far every daddylong legs i put in gets eaten in seconds,so i wouldn't say that daddylong legs eats white tails all the time i think that given the chance they would but most of the time the white tail will win,since its a nomadic hunter and given they feed on other Spiders usually theyd be the first in,but to answer the question.yes they would if they could lol
