There has been much speculation about how to do this in medical circles. For some, the addition of iron supplements will help. For others, a bit of magnesium supplements will ease the discomfort, and for a third group potassium will do the trick.
So, try eating spinach, Okra, or live and chase it with bananas, watermelon, or cantaloupe. All are high in the above nutrients and might prevent the muscle cramps known as charley horse. And, you know, that sounds like a really tasty dinner!

∙ 12y agoOkay all you have to do is walk it off. I mean slowly to fast like normal. If anything were normal. Yea walk it off for 5 minutes then sit down. If you can.

∙ 13y agoA charlie horse is basically a leg cramp that is caused by lack of potassium, so to get rid of it you have to eat stuff with potassium in it.

∙ 13y agoScream super loud, then stretch it. It might be a muscle circulation issue, so try a regime of regular stretching. Don't over do it, though.
