5. Anatomy deals with Gross internal details of the plant organs.

6. Cytology Structure and functions of cell and cell organelles and their multiplication.

7. Embryology deals with Development of male and female gametophytes, formation of gametes, process offertilization, development of embryo, endosperm and seed. P. Maheswari made significant contributions to Embryology

8. Palynology deals with All aspects of microspores or pollen grains including their structure and development.
