Well i have a cat also, she is now three years. her name is Jessie. I guess i can tell u the habitat of a cat. Jessie was found in or compound so she is a stray cat. My brother Alpha found her being beaten up by a janitor (who works in or compound as a cleaner) anyways.... he saved her and brought her home, put her in a box and gave her food. We had no time to see her because we were on out way to church. When we came back me and my other brother were scared of her because she was a stray and maybe has rabies. Later on we found a vet named Qson, he gave Jessie her shots and some goat milk for her health. Jessie was pretty young that time now is a big healthy, spoiled, lazy cat.just to mention cats change their area if the weather is not good. We found her near a bin licking a red sauce off a bag. (her mother left her to fend for food and live on her own. Cats live depending on weather and safety.

Good question!
A habitat (Latin for "it dwells") is simply the place or environment where an organism lives.
A niche (from a French architectural term meaning "nook" or "small cavity") is a more complex concept. An organism's niche is not the place where it lives, but the way of lifethat it occupies. The way an organism fits into its ecosystem, how it takes advantage of the environment it lives in, and how it interacts with the other organisms in its ecosystem--this is a niche.
For instance, a gazelle's niche is grazing in herds on the grasses of the savannah, and a cheetah's niche is hunting Gazelles, either alone or in small groups.
