Guinea pigs are shy at first when they meet humans. Once you spend lots of time with Her, she will be loving towards you. Guinea pigs attach to their owners very easily. A guinea pig that feels safe with the owner may even sleep on their lap. My guinea pig licks my chin and cheeks. When i cry she licks my tears. Guinea pigs are as good of a pet as dogs or cats except that you don't have to take them for a walk.
