It depends on what kind of snake you're talking about! Snakes can be many different sizes. The smallest snake in the world is only about the size of a worm. The largest species of snake is disputed, with the Anaconda holding an official record as the heaviest and the Burmese Python as the longest. In 2004 a python was found in India that was 49 feet long and weighed 990 pounds. I believe this latest is currently the record-holder for the world's largest snake.
