try cheap mouthwash soak, then sponge up the moisture. repeat as necessary. sprinkle baking soda once you pour the mouthwash on the stain. good luck. Cover with a heay object so it is not accessable to the dog so he is not attracted to the spot. put balloons around the spot. they are usually scared of balloons.
There could be several reasons why a dog smells like pee, including a urinary tract infection, incontinence, inadequate grooming, or rolling in something with a strong odor. It's best to take your dog to the vet to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment.
no it does not. Cat urine often contains/produces ammonia, where as a dogs urine does not. However it is not recommended you smell either!! i think they all smell and taste the same from personal references ;) lol
Dogs use urine to communicate through scent-marking. By licking other dogs' urine, they can gather information about the other dog's gender, health status, and reproductive status. It's a natural behavior that stems from a dog's heightened sense of smell and instinctual communication methods.

I would use baking soda. It is great!
Well, if the dog is brand new and not trained, then it will probably pee on the carpet at one point or another. If you don't want to have to replace the carpet or spend lots of time cleaning it, either get a pre-trained dog, or maybe don't get one at all.
smell it. Does it smell like pee?

He/she probably still can faintly smell the pee even if you cleaned it up. what you should do is clean every place he/she normally pees with vinegar. it won't smell good but it will detur the dog from peeing there again.
No, basil does not smell like cat pee.
