Their skin goes all flakey and your guinea pig scarthes its fur a lot. Take it to the vet if this is happening to your guinea pig. Did you also know that you shouldn't feed your guinea pig apple otherwise it will get a bad diesease around its mouth.

∙ 15y agoSometimes you can not be sure unless you take the pet to a vet. They can do a scraping of its skin to see for sure. Hair loss is a good sign that it may have this parasite.
