If you let your matured hamster be with a matured male hamster, it is most likely she will mate. When a hamster is pregnant, its stomach will look rounded, giving her a pear-like shape. She will also have a gestation period from 13-14 days. I think that means sleeping a lot. And after 16 days of pregnancy, she will finally give birth. Your hamster would know when she's about to give birth and start making a nest. I'm not really sure but I hope these helped.

yah well guess what it didnt

Thier gestation period is about 14-18 days. Your hamster will probably be making a nest for her babies. If she is done the babies are probably on their way soon! I don't know if that helps or not, but I hope it does. Make sure your pregnant hamster gets lots of protein. You can give her cheese, nuts, or even chicken! If she doesn't get enough protein, she may eat her babies.:(

u will know when your hamster is having babies when she is busy making a nest. she might sleep a lot within her pregnancy. when she is giving birth, she will be hunched over. if she is fat within 16 days and has not given birth she has just been eating too much. trust me my hamster has had 5 liters already.

if you have a male and female hamster it is suggested that you bring the female to the male in an open enviorment, never in one or anothers cage.

If they attack and fight, the female is not ready, try this for three days. When she accepts him, count four days later. and That is when she will be ready to mate again.

Female hamsters go into heat every 4-6 days aprox.

Good luck!
