Because dogs are warm blooded, they adjust thereselfs to the temperature and they are comfortable the way they are. Think about it this way. When it is cold out a dog has all of that fur so it adjusts itself to stay warmer even thiugh they have fur. In a warm house they go back to being normal until they take another walk outside.

All dogs should have access to a warm house in bad weather. No dog should ever be left out in a rain or snowstorm, or when the temperature is below 50 degrees, especially if there is no sun out.
