The best ways of convincing your parents to buy you a pet are by keepin your room clean, doing household chores, and getting good grades in school. For most parents the reason they dont want a pet in the home is because there is a fear of you not taking care of it and making thm clean up after it. Save your money up and buy things that relates to the animal of your choice then at least your parents will see your commitment and a compromise may be found.

you can beg but that probably won't work. calmly talk to them. tell them that you would take care of this pet and that you're responsible enough to take care of this pet. maybe they'll understand that and see that you are ready for more responsibility. hope all goes well!

∙ 12y agojust say that it is a good responsibility.dog,cat,hamster,whatever pet u want to get just say that, that pet will teach u responsibility, and if the answer is still no just walk away and research information on your wanted pet then make a slide show and pamper your parents before you present them. try to reason with them. if they still say no try to make them think you are rresponsible. e.g finishing your homework asap, a cing tests, doing chores the first time asked and this should take a month for your parents to budge the key is the the child they have always wanted.

∙ 12y agoFirst, you have to convince your mom that you are responsible enough to have a pet. Try doing extra chores around the house, or taking care of a plant or a pet bug. Then, decide what pet you really want, and do some research. Check what is involved in getting that particular animal, like food, cages, collars, beds, etc; and look up all the benefits having a pet can give. Collect as much information as possible, then explain yourself clearly to your parents (and don't whine, it doesn't help your case. if you're lucky, they'll be so impressed that they'll agree. if not, wait until you're a little older, and try again. ( You could go with the «Whine-until-they-agree» approach, but i would advise against it.)
