You need to keep humidity up over 60% in the brooder box if you have transfered the chicks to a separate area. Never be in a rush to move the newly hatched chicks from the incubator. They should stay with their brood mates in the humid, warm incubator for at least 24 hours after hatch. You can add a few small drops of warm water to the area that appears stuck (use an eye dropper). Keep the chick warm at all times and out of drafts.
Do not pull the shell away from the body of the chick, you may damage it.
It can take up to 24 hours for the chick to complete its escape. It is best not to help the chick break out of the shell as you can damage the chick trying to help. There is a supply of blood in the shell membrane that will weaken the chick if broken early. Increase the humidity in the incubator, lack of moisture is the main reason for die off in the shell during peeping. try for 75% humidity.
At the tip of a chicks beak is a small sharp bump called the egg tooth. The chick uses this "tooth" to put pressure in the shell from the inside making a small hole for air and then a series of cracks. This process can take 24 hours or more. The chick comes out of the shell with this egg tooth intact but it soon is absorbed as the beak grows and the chick get older.
I had a baby chick that rarely ever opened it eyes because it was very sick. I took it in and fed it and gave it water out of a dropper. It later died. If your chick is not opening its eyes it may be sick
The egg stands on the webbed feet of the male, and is kept warm by a fold of belly skin, while the female goes to sea to eat. On her return, some weeks later, after the female feeds the chick, they swap places, leaving the very hungry male to head off to sea to feed. Once the chick becomes big enough, all chicks gather together in a creche and both adults can go to sea, feeding the chick on their return.
The germinal disc. The egg is really just a single cell, until it is fertilized. The blastodisc (white spot on top of the yolk) is what will become part of the fetus when fertilized with sperm. Then the fetus feeds off the yolk to continue developing.

yes
No egg whites are the protective layer around the egg yolk. It is there to protect the egg yolk and keep it from bouncing around in the Shell. It is also what the baby chick feeds off of while it is growing seeing as its not attached to an umbilical cord.

yes
Egg incubation helps chicks get out of their shells. Or for the people who have this question as a math problem, the answer is THE EGG SIT (the exit).
Take some achol and rub it on the cut nicely then it should come off
This is a tricky situation , My preferable option is to get a piece of cotton wool or cloth. Then boil a kettle. From the water in the kettle add a bit of cold water. Soak the cotton wool in the water. Hold the cotton wool where the poo is stuck. Every few miniutes see if it is easier to pull the poo off (dont pull hard as it will hurt the poor chick) Keep soaking until poo comes off.
It might be time to intervene by now if the chick hasn't made any progress within those 24 hours. Begin by GENTLY peeling the shell away from where the chick's beak has poke through. Stop immediately if it is wet and bloody around the site of where you are peeling. This means it is not ready and can die of blood loss if you continue. Continue slowly within the day if it is not. You can peel the entire thing, but just enough so that it can break its way on its own later.
Well they first start by soaking the seeds in human urine to moisten the shell so it is easier for the shell to be cracked off. Next, you lubricate it with vaseline or any lubricant really, after that suck them hard baby then the shell will pop off and you can roast the seeds until your hearts content. :DD

SCRAMBLE IT, SUNNY SIDE UP , or rinse the area off with water (cleaning the mess). Its over when the shell cracks no more baby duckies hatch. SCRAMBLE IT, SUNNY SIDE UP , or rinse the area off with water (cleaning the mess). Its over when the shell cracks no more baby duckies hatch.
