The correct starting point is to use an enzyme based pet urine odor eliminator. There are many brands available at your local pet store or vet. Make sure you test in an non obvious area to ensure that the odor eliminator will not have an adverse effect on your leather. If the odor has seeped into the internals of a seat cushion, then I advise replacement of the seat cushion. If it seeped into the frame, then open the dust cover (cloth under the piece) and apply enzyme based odor eliminator on effected components. It may require multiple doses of the odor eliminator. Finally, if the odor is persistent the place the target piece in an ozone chamber. Your local disaster relief company (flood and fire) should have an ozone chamber. There could be several reasons why a dog smells like pee, including a urinary tract infection, incontinence, inadequate grooming, or rolling in something with a strong odor. It's best to take your dog to the vet to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment.
no it does not. Cat urine often contains/produces ammonia, where as a dogs urine does not. However it is not recommended you smell either!! i think they all smell and taste the same from personal references ;) lol
Dogs use urine to communicate through scent-marking. By licking other dogs' urine, they can gather information about the other dog's gender, health status, and reproductive status. It's a natural behavior that stems from a dog's heightened sense of smell and instinctual communication methods.

Your dog may smell like cat pee because it got sprayed by a Tom cat. A cat's spray often smells like pee.
To remove urine smell from leather, mix equal parts of water and vinegar and wipe down the affected area. Allow it to air dry. Alternatively, you can try using a leather cleaner specifically designed to remove odors.
I would use baking soda. It is great!
smell it. Does it smell like pee?
pee on it
He/she probably still can faintly smell the pee even if you cleaned it up. what you should do is clean every place he/she normally pees with vinegar. it won't smell good but it will detur the dog from peeing there again.

No. It should not smell good. Pee with a sweet smell means you have had too much sugar.
Sometimes however they will still pee on your furniture and etc. Put you can train him not to pee on items. If where he pees smell like another dog or cat could cause him to want to pee in same location.
