A species is defined as a group of similar organisms which can interbreed and produce fertile offspring. Both a Poodle and a Greyhound are therefore of the same species, Canis Lupus Familiaris, as they are genetically very similar and can produce puppies which can themselves breed. An example of two species which appear very similar but cannot produce fertile offspring are the donkey and the horse. A donkey can mate with a horse and produce a foal (which is known as a mule), but this foal will be infertile and unable to produce its own offspring. Therefore, we know that a donkey and a horse are not of the same species, and that a Poodle and a Greyhound are.
I dont know, but i think it can kill a toy poodle.
Penguins know who they belong to because of there fins and by the color of there stomachs.
cockapoos can be several sizes. since poodle come in a variety of sizes, which is miniature poodle and standard poodle. so a mix of cocker spaniel and minia. poodle would be a cockapoo litter which would grow up and be around the size of a minia. poodle, which IS, miniature...small. Ans same thing with the standard poodle, which is quite big, maybe about the size of a labrador retiever. I don't know the height or weight of them. I 'm only 10. I, personally, have a cockapoo myself, which is ( I think )a mix the cocker spaniel and a miniature poodle. -Elizabeth Hendy
Paradoxes:* Two organisms "supposed to be"of the same species, and both masculine, cannot breed together, so they can't be of the same species. * If an organism "A" can breed with two other organisms "B" and "C", it means that "A", "B" and "C" all (appear to) belong to a single species, but not necessarily "B" and "C" must be capable of breed together, meaning that "B" and "C" belong to different species.

They do not belong to the same species. This is recognizable because in scientific names, the genus is first listed with a capital first letter (in this case, Papio). Next, the species name is listed uncapitalized (in this case, annubis and cynocephalus). It's written as "Genus species".

It is a poodle mix. Maybe your vet can tell or give you an idea what it's mixed with.
You would need pedigree papers to know for certain if the dog is a purebred poodle.
