Hey there, First off id like to say that about 30mins ago i read that u can give boiled pumpkin to ur fish. Secondly Id like to say that i used to work at an aquarium for a few years. Now personally I have never tried veggies and fish but id highly be against it. One, because fish don't naturally eat veggies in the wild and two, because it will most definitely pollute your water way quicker than normal food. I used to give bristles a varied diet while working in the aquarium, for a couple of days id give them sinking granuals, and then toss in a couple of spirulina or alage tablets for them to munch on. Whatever u do just make sure that u buy high quality food. Normally the more u pay the better. Cheap (and supermarket) fish foods really do more harm than good. The pollute the water too quickly and generally speaking its like feeding ur fish McDonalds everyday. Wardley brand is pretty good, Ive never had a fatality with feeding them wardley. I hope that helps mate. If u have any other questions message me a www.myspace.com/wahbeagle Cheers!

Catfish are hardy creatures, and the toughness of their skin reflects that. The easiest way to skin a catfish is; 1. Carefully cut through just the skin around the body behind the gills. 2. Hang the fish by the gills from a tree branch, or anything else suitable. 3. Pull the skin off from the head down, using the pliers. 4. Remove the skin down to the tail. 5. Fillet the fish from the tail up. 6. Prepare the catfish for eating.

Yes. As detritivorous scavengers, catfish eat the dead material that they find at the bottom. In their natural habitat, they eat other fish, worms, night crawlers, and about anything else that lives in the water. I use sections of raw hot dog as bait to successfully fish for catfish all over the American Southwest. Despite the fact that they are considered to be notkosher, long live National Catfish Day! Yes, rabbits do eat carrots.
Blue catfish have many of the same habits as other catfish species. You need to use shad, liver, or anything else stinky. Fish on the bottom on cooler nights. They prefer habitats that are protected such as under boat docks or under bridges.
This happened to me before. It is the catfish. I don't know why but I once saw my catfish chasing and biting everything. The fishes fins were torn up or were dead when he was done. I went to bed that night hoping nothing else would happen and when I woke up he was dead and my female catfish was torn up so much her eye was missing and she was litteraly striped of her skin and my male had a punctured stomach. Hopes this helped!!!!
