firstly, you've got to check why the horse is kicking in the first place.
Sometimes when your riding, horses like to give a small kick, sometimes for excitement, but mostly because they are uncomfortable.
I hope this is helpful to your question ( : satu231
First try giving and taking with the reins, which means releasing and then tigtening the rein contact. Then try to turn your horse as a horse cannot turn well at a past pace. Ride it in decreasing sized circles until you regain control Praise it for stopping, but do not punish it or it may think it is being told not to stop This is assuming you are riding English/Classical style
sit back
keep calm
pull on the reins
try to turn your horse in a circle if you are in a wide space
talk to them say stuff like steady and whoa
and remember they have to sop at some point they cannot run forever!
Add another horse to give your horse company or add a horse to a field near them if either of these are not an option then you can add some toys ie treat balls ect??
If your horse bolts, you should try to slow the horse down by getting the horse to go in circles. When the horse slows down sufficiently, jump off.
There is no guarentee ever that a horse will not kick. However, there are certain training methods that can be used to minimize kicking. One of the first things that should be done however is to have a professional work with horse and owner so that the horse learns respect for the human. A horse that kicks is typically the leader, who says "I do not need to listen to you! They do kick out of fear and frustration also, but the lack of respect is the number one reason. Gain respect, and the chance of kicking can be reduced.
Just keep kicking, and roll your hips into the saddle.
Most times, but not always, the kicking will stop when the pecking order is established when one of the mares dominant over the other and the other recognized the dominance. If the kicking does not stop after two or three weeks then they will have to be separated.
To run. The first thing a horse will do when frightened is to run. If they feel trapped then they will fight by rearing and by kicking. Its called "Fight or flight". Fight or run. A horse will bolt (run) and can squeal. If a horse is really scared, or has fear, there would be little whites in their eyes.
You stop riding it!
