Budgies or Parakeets do not normally eat their own feces. Be sure to clean out the bottom of the cage daily, put fresh paper or litter in the cage daily. Be sure the parakeet has access to fresh parakeet seed in a covered feeder so no feces can drop into the food. Make sure there is fresh clean water available at all times (in a covered container too). Add a cuttlebone to the side of the cage at the end of one of the perches. Make sure to clean the perches weekly using a brush made especially for that purpose. Add a little gravel to the bottom of the cage or in a treat cup, they need that gravel for helping to digest their good. Give small amounts of fresh greenery and fruit, such as tops of carrots, kale, bits of Oranges, apples, bananas, etc. Regular lettuce is mostly water and can cause diarrhea. Use dark greens and feed only in small amounts. Put up some toys for your parakeet to play with.
when can baby budgies eat on their own
No, but they do smell it. Then they poop over it to be proud!? Don't ask me why!
Having lived on a dairy for a period of time, I've never seen a cow eat its own poop (aka: cow pie). So no, I don't believe cows eat their own poop.
If there is enough undigested protein left in it, they likely mistake it for edible material. Avoid letting a dog eat this material because it could lead to dehydration.Additional thoughts:Your dog probably eats its poop because its stomach hurts. If you see him/her eating his poop, walk your dog for a while and only let him/her drink water.Another guess that your dog is eating its poop is that he/she ate something and the remains of it are still in its poop and he/she likes how it tastes.Another reason that your dog would eat it's own poop is because there is fiber in the poop from their food. These are only guesses and if your dog keeps on eating its poop, then ask a vet on your next check up.Malnutrition or a behavior in which they want to cover their traces. Poo attracts other animals to their homes as well.
I actually don't

A baby probably won't get sick from eating/digesting their own poop, after all, it came out of them. And the nutritional value is pretty low, they've already digested it once. They are much more likely to catch diseases from someone else's or some animals. Answer: Forget the other answer! Yes, a baby can get VERY sick from eating poop, especially if it's not their own! Feces contains many harmful substances!
Yes they do! In fact I have 3 budgies of my own.
You should pick up the other dog poo so the other dog can stop eating it
Kill the bees
Yes. Apes actually do throw their own poop.
Tell him/her to buy their own food and stop eating yours. If that doesn't work, get a small refridgerater for yourself and padlock it. If that doesn't work, throw the bum out.
I would imagine so, Would you eat your own poop?
no you did
