You can't tell a horses exact personality from his face but you can tell how he's feeling at the moment. The most effective way (in my opinion) is to look at a horses ears, eyes, and mouth. I look at the ears as a sort of barometer, flat against the skull means angry, aggressive, or just plain ticked off. Forward means happy, content, or something like that. Somewhere in between is nothing, not happy not mad just nothing. I only think there are three main signals from the eyes. Closed or half open eyes signal contentness or tiredness, this generally means the horse is secure is his surroundings. Wide open eyes with the whites showing means frighened or "get the heck away from me" (aka scared) or aggressive. In any case if you can see the whites back off before you get hurt. Eyes open without the whites exposed means nothing, just alive not aggressive, or content. The mouth I feel is the least effective means of telling how a horse feels. If his teeth are bared he is aggressive and ready to strike. If his bottom lip is drooping he is either content or tired. Hope this helps, feel free to message me.
i have heard that you can tell by the teeth but sometimes you can tell by the face or the personality of your dog

It is sopussed to tell what your personality is
Alot of horses you'll find out there are athletic. It all usually depends on the accual horse's personality.
Horses thrive on a pecking order. The Alpha horse is the Boss. Pushes the other horses around. Wants to be in charge. Usually has a more aggressive personality. But keep in mind - aggressive doesn't always equal "mean".
You add together the horses current personality and intelligence. Then you add the breed max together. Then you divide the horses current intelligence and personality added together by the horses breed max. multiply the answer by 100
horse intelligence + personality --------------------------------------- x 100 = % breed intelligence + personality
Definately personality.

Horses often have marks on their face, there's the star, the blaze, the snip, bald face, & the stripe. Paint horses have irregular markings on their bodies.
