Horses thrive on a pecking order. The Alpha horse is the Boss. Pushes the other horses around. Wants to be in charge. Usually has a more aggressive personality.
But keep in mind - aggressive doesn't always equal "mean".
A male wild horse is called a stallion; there is usually one mature stallion with a small herd of mares and the mare's reproductively immature offspring. However, wild horse bands are not led by the male - they are lead by the dominant mare.
Usually it is young horses meeting with old horses that do this. The young horse will chew, or smack his gums, in respect to the older horse. Kind of like how wolves lay down belly up to an Alpha wolf. The younger horse is saying "I give in, don't hurt me." Hope this helps, Double J Farms
An "Alpha pair" is the dominant breeding pair in a pack of animals. This is usually a normality in wolf packs. Only the alpha female and alpha male are allowed to have offspring.
They don't have one. Their symbols are the crescent and the pink carnation.
Depends on the characteristics of the werewolf. Alpha's dont have a specific pelt color
A horse with a rider on should not have an issue with any neignboring horse if trained correctly. This would be a bigger problem if paddocks are shared, but while riding the horse is to be compliant with the rider.Regular riding of your horse with you in strict control should build this bond.
the alpha stallion and mare search for food and the alpha stallion fights coyotes and other predators. their first instinct is to run. they run while the alpha stallion fights the predator.
the alpha of the group of wild horses moves his herd when it is needed
Depending on the engine, 220-300 hp
Wild horses have the same behavious as domestic ones. They are herd animals. They need the socialization of other horses. They are geared to the 'herd mentality' because of course, there is greater safety in numbers. The more eyes and ears there are the better chance to spot, and flee, from a predator. In the domestic horse, people replace other horses and become the 'alpha', or boss, in their relationship with their horse. If you are not the alpha there is a problem.

A horse's family is a herd. It is usually made up of an alpha mare, her sisters and aunts (female relatives) ect., and one breeding stallion. Domestic horses have human families. And human families can vary greatly but if there is a horse in the family there almost certainly has to be a breadwinner. And in the majority of cases there will be at least one horse-crazy girl.
