Parrots reproduce sexually, like other birds. That's why you always have a breeding pair, a father and a mother. Both parents contribute chromosomes to the offspring, creating genetically unique individuals.

Asexual reproduction would mean that there was only one parent contributing chromosomes, so the genetic make up would either be the same as the parent (if the parent split into two/more) or with two sex cells of the parent recombining to create something semi-unique (for instance, if a flower self-pollinated)

Parrots reproduce through sexual reproduction. Mating between a male and female parrot is required for fertilization of eggs to occur. The female parrot will lay eggs which need to be incubated until they hatch.
