I have found two sources that say at least 18 inches off the ground. I have found that my chickens tend to favor the higher roosting areas, so the 18 inches sounds about right (I am preparing to mount my boxes today).
No silkie sleep on a perch or any kind of bar that's to high because they are to little and they can really jump from high places because they are very delicate and can brake some thing very easy
If your chickens are young and have not yet come into lay then you can look at their vent ( opening in their bum) and see if it is tight and puckered or wider and loose. Chicken that are laying have more open vents. Chickens only lay two eggs every three days, one about every 25 to 26 hours in high production. You almost have to catch the hen on the nest and cackling to prove the egg was from that one.
An owl box is a specially designed nesting box or house intended to provide a safe and suitable habitat for owls to breed and roost. These boxes are typically placed high up in trees or on buildings to mimic the natural environment where owls would reside. They help support owl populations and provide pest control benefits by attracting owls that prey on rodents and insects.
Chickens can typically fly short distances or up to about 10 feet high. However, most domesticated chickens are not strong fliers due to selective breeding that has focused more on egg production and meat quality rather than flying ability.
Chickens live in nearly every part of the world. The only place chickens cannot survive is in the water. Chickens can even survive desert regions if they have enough food given to them by humans.

To find the total number of boxes stacked, you multiply the dimensions together: 7 boxes high × 7 boxes wide × 7 boxes long. This equals 7 × 7 × 7, which is 343 boxes. So, you would stack a total of 343 boxes.
# of boxes height wise times the # of boxes width. If it is 5 boxes high and 5 boxes wide then you would have 25 boxes on that pallet.

less than a foot?
They fly up to "roost".
Between 8 inches and 24 inches from the floor of the coop is normal. The higher the box from the floor the easier is is for the egg collection. The hens will nest wherever they are placed as long as they have easy access.
As long as the chicken cage has a high enough roof, a galah can certainly live in the same area as chickens.
Collection boxes are set up in various (usually high traffic) areas. These boxes are usually for donation purposes - people can place items that the charity is asking for in these collection boxes.
How high from the floor is the bench seat?It all depends on the kind of bench you have.
