Rabbit lifespans can vary depending on conditions and breed.
Smaller rabbits (netherland dwarfs etc) tend to have longer life spans than the large breeds (flemish Giants, French Lops etc).
Smaller Rabbits have been known to live to 13-14 years when kept as a house rabbits and well cared for. The average lifespan is about 8-9 years however.
Larger breeds can live to about 8-9 year in optimal conditions, although their larger size can make them very prone to health problems, especially heart conditions.
European Rabbits in the wild have a short lifespan because they are a very common prey animal.
Pet rabbits (domesticated European Rabbits) have an average lifespan of 8 to 10 years, but they can live longer (although, rabbits older than 13 years are quite unusual). Rabbits are delicate and unique creatures and many pet bunnies die at a young age because they have not been properly cared for, or sometimes because of genetic problems.
10-15 years
All pet rabbit breeds were originally bred from the European Rabbit.
Pet rabbits generally live 8-10 years; they can live longer, but over 13 is rare. Generally, little breeds live longer than bigger breeds.
I guess you could say that. They don't live as long as regular rabbits, but they live around 7-10 years.
Feral rabbits can live from 10-15 years.
The average life span for a healthy rabbit is 6 to 8 years. However, some rabbits can live to be up 14 years, and if not cared for properly, some rabbits don't live very long.
Rabbits can be found pretty much everywhere these days though they originated in Europe (the European Rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus). There are also species of rabbit native to parts of Asia and Africa.
