It might take a couple of months for a hamster to finish a bag of food. Hamsters don't usally eat to much. Hoped this helped! ==Second Answer== All hamsters will be different but my hamster used to get through 1 standard sized bag of Harry Hamster food in about 4-5 weeks. He was also fed fresh vegetables every day so the bag of food was not his only diet.
For aslong a you allow them too.
Hamsters store foods including fresh fruits and vegetables which turn bad and rot as long as you let them which is why it is important to clean there cage regulary (EVERY WEEK AT LEAST) and remove any stored food so that they can start again.
Hamsters only need a tiny handful of food everyday. I would say that 1kg would last a fair few weeks.
It depends how often you feed your hamster. I usually just fill up my hamster's bowl when it is empty.

about 3 days. without food 1-2 weeks. so make sure your guinea pigs always have enough water! i is important.
No,NEVER,EVER give a guinea pig hamster food.Hamster food contains nuts, which are fine for the hamster but will almost certainly choke your guinea pig. Also hamster food contains corn which is way too fattening for guinea pigs. And lastly a guinea pig needs a lot of vitamin C which guinea pig food has plenty of while hamster food doesn't have nearly enough, plus hamster food has too much protein for guinea pigs.
well a hamster is most likely to store their food in there pouch for probably about 20 minites but if the hamster has it longer then that then contact a vet or tell a perint
If you're all out of hamster food (I suggest you get some soon), you can feed your hamster carrots, lettuce, any vegetable. Stay away from foods other than this. You don't want to take any risks with your hamster. Also, you don't know if your hamster has any serious allergies. At all costs, do what I said. But, if you can help it, get some more hamster food! It's the easy and safe route to go.
1-3 tablespoons of hamster mix and if your let your hamster finish his or her food or he/she can start to be picky,I hope this helps good luck
Hamsters store food in their cages, which means they can go for a few days without food. As long as you aren't away for more than 6-7 days, your hamster should be fine. If you give him/her a bit of extra food before you go, you won't need to worry!
Save the hamster food
Well, it may look like a hamster is eating food whole, but actually, the have cheek poaches. They can put as much food as they want in there, then chew a swallow a certain amount, depending on how much they want. You can not see the them do this because, it is inside of there mouth. If you ever see there cheeks big, it is because they are storing food!
Put out some of its favorite food..... Hope this helps :)
Go to store and look at the ingredients of the food on the hamster food package.
It dies. Although they save some food in their pouches, it is not enough to keep them alive for a whole month.
It shouldn't ever really, but one day would be the maximum to ever leave a hamster without food. However, if you look they may have a secret hoard of lots of food (usually near their bed) which would keep them going for 2-3 days. Hamdoc

Leaving a hamster alone for 2-3 days by themselves is fine, as long as they have water and food. If they do not have water and food, they could die in this short time.
Don't, the hamster may need water or food and spending the whole night in the ball with no access to either is not good for them. They might dehydrate and become sick.
Yes! In fact, ALL hamster food is made for Hamsters AND Gerbils! It is perfectly fine to give gerbils the hamster food, and also to give hamsters gerbil food!
