I can only address the dairy breeds. The Alpine, Toggenberg and the Saanen are European, the Nubian is African, and the Oberhasli and LaMancha are ours. All breeds can live anywhere, but these are the countries of origin. <Meat breeds- Myotonic (stiff-leg) is American. Then there is Boer, Kiko, Spanish and Pigmy.
