A full grown horse has a TBV (total blood volume) of about 100 pints. That is about 12.5 gallons of blood.
An adult, average sized horse, weighing around 1000 pounds has about 9 gallons of blood in their circulatory system.
enough to fill it's circulatory system

No there is not a such thing as a 16.6 hand horse. One hand is 4 inches and the measurements are as follows 16.0 , 16.1 , 16.2 , 16.3 ,17 and it continues on in that pattern. Some people will list a horse that is say 16.2 hands as 16.5 meaning it's sixteen in a half hands, but this is also incorrect. So a 16.6 hand horse could be anything from 16.2 to 17.3 hands. You can always ask someone for the horses height in inches and figure it out yourself.
No but you have to be over 16 to ride a horse on your OWN.
An "Average" 15 hand horse is likely to weight 950 to 1000 lbs. If the purpose is to make an estimate for medicating or feeding, assume this as a baseline, then adjust upward or downward if the horse is particularly fine-boned and lean or heavy-set or overweight.
142.24 cm1 hand = 4 inches; 14 hands = 56 inches; 1 inch = 2.54 cm; 56 inches = 142.24 cm
64 in. or 162.56 cm.
Well, seeing as there are 4 inches in a hand a 16 hand horse would be 64 inches or 5 feet and 4 inches.
The height of a horse is determined by the number of hands he is from the ground to the top of his withers. The king of England decided to measure them that way, so he measured a horse with the width of his hand, 4 inches, so each hand is four inches. Say a horse was 16 hands high. That horse would be 64 inches high. if you are measuring a small pony, you just measure from the ground to his withers in inches.

horses can graze (eat) for up to 16 hours a day.
If you are talking about hands as in a measurement of the horse, it is exactly 4 inches. For example: A horse is 16 hands tall (which is the same as saying "A horse is 64 inches")
A normal sized Percheron can be from 16 to 18 hands high at the wither (shoulder). A hand is four inches.
16 is about middle age. I knew a horse that lived to be in her 30s.
1 hand = 4in so 16 x 4 = 64 in x
horses can graze (eat) for up to 16 hours a day.
