This depends on what you are having done. The range can be $1,000-$5,000. My mare is having surgery this Thursday. She has a right front inside medial fracture. My Vet's charges for X-rays, tranquelizer, etc. was $675(but we x-rayed all of her legs approx. 18 slides at $30 per slide). Then he and I went to the Kendall Equine hospital, IL to do a consult. Dr. Vasek is going to surgically remove her distal splint bone, basically remove the bone from the fracture down. Kendal quoted me approx. $1,000, however my insurance company was surprised since many of these surgeries can cost $3,000-$5,000. I have quickly done some research on the procedure started by Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital. Case studies showed that most TB race horses returned to normal after this procedure and won just as many races as they did before the fracture. So I would suggest doing the surgery, horses without the surgery are prone to recurrence of injury. Best luck to you.
My 3 month old mule just had umbilical hernia surgery. He also had an infected umbilical cord. It cost me about $600.00 including his antibiotics. I was not charged to castrate him at the same time. The cost will vary on were you are located.
Depending on the area that you live in and providing there are no complications it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-$200. Before surgery make sure that both testicles have dropped. If not he will have to have a second surgery and it will be twice as expensive for you.
The cost for pet devocalization surgery varies widely depending on where you live and the veterinarian you choose. This surgery can be difficult to obtain as many veterinarians will not perform it.

.Hi there, are your pups dewclaws bone attached or skin attached?? That makes a huge difference in the difficulty of surgery and cost. When the dewclaws are bone attached, the surgery is of course more difficult as you are actually doing an amputation of the digit, skin attached, you are just removing the skin and claw portion. When they remove bone attached dewclaws, the surgical area will be wrapped for quite a bit longer. Most of the time when the dewclaws are skin attached they only wear the wraps for a few days and have the sutures removed in 10-14 days. Bone attached sutures are also removed at 10-14 days. The surgery for bone attached claws is more painful so we send pain meds home with the owner to help with the pups recovery. i have seen the bone attached removal one go for around $100.00 Hi there, are your pups dewclaws bone attached or skin attached??
