Well every day it should stay in its cage for about a couple of hours, but about 6 hours or more for sleeping unless you make a bed or sleep with it. But you shouldn't keep it in a cage for a really long time because it needs more space and fresh air, as well as company unless you have another rabbit.

If it is a frog that is a natural inhabitant of the area, you need to let it be free.

What are good care tips for a bunny?

make sure you feed your bunny dry pellet food. Feed it veggies once in awhile therefore it can give them diarrhea. Make sure you let it outside of it's cage for exercise. A bunny without alot of energy can get very bored and stressed out. Make sure you keep them away from any potential danger such as any cords, electrical outlets... because it can chew the cords and/or get shocked. Keep away from any potentially dangerous animals such as dogs...If you have any questions, type "bunny care tips" on google, yahoo...

Do adult rats and baby rats get along?

All rats need to be gradually introduced to new rats before they get along. Get them out of their cage onto a neutral area, with no food around, and let them meet. do this every so often. It is normal for the older rats to show dominance over the younger ones.

Can you let rabbits out of their cages?

Yes, of course. You can't leave a rabbit in its cage for a straight 24 hours! It would be like staying in an airplane for eternity!Pet rabbits need to be out of the cage for at least 6 hours a day. All you have to do is let the rabbit out! That's it! And just leave the cage door open so he/she can eat/drink.When I leave my rabbit out, he just lays out on a nice, cool, piece of tile and stays there for a long time!

Your bunny wont let anyone touch it what is wrong?

Well Your bunny is supposed to be very shy around others and tends to get scared of new faces and feels stressed out this is terrible because if a bunny gets too stressed it can die.

Why do bunnys dig?

Because they don't have a big enough cage. What kind of cage do you have, that your rabbit can make a hole in it. The main purpose to have your rabbit in a cage, besides being able to catch it is to protect the rabbit. You need to get a sturdy welded wire cage for your rabbit.

Why do rabbits shake there cage?

Your rabbit may be banging on the cage if it is very bored or lonely. Maybe consider another rabbit or guinea pig to keep it company, or maybe some toys to keep it entertained. if this does not stop the problem then contact your local vet for advice.

How do you train your dog to not eat a rabbit?

At first, let the dog see the rabbit in it's cage. After the bunny stops running away when the dog comes pick it up and call the dog over to introduce them. If there isn't a tense feeling, you could let he bunny down, supervising carefully. After that, if there was no problem, you can let the bunny out and the dog most likely will be apathetic.

How often do you have to change rabbit litter?

If you mean clean the cage, it would be once a week. The tray (if you look at the bottom, there will be a sliding compartment, put newspaper or paper towels to cover it up) will need to be changed DAILY. This is a list of what needs to be done DAILY!! *Change Food *Change Water *Clean toys (if you have any) Just wipe them off or rinse them and dry them.(Same with the bowls of food/water) Weekly, you will need to wipe the inside and outside of the cage with a damp cloth.

How do you tell if a budgie is happy?

It's not.Would you be happy if you were confined to a single room of your house for your entire life? The best rabbit habitat involves one in which either rabbits are given hours of supervised free roam time outside of the cage or are able to roam free in a bunny proofed area that is connected to their cage.Yeah, but you're not a bunny and they have different personalities so this question is still unanswered. :)I'm not a bunny but I speak rabbit (and English, I've fixed your mistakes above). And if the question being answered is dependent on the rabbit's personality we would need to know the personality wouldn't we? And since knowing the rabbit's personality is dependent on speaking rabbit I'm pretty sure I've answered this question. However, I'm sure some nitwit will come in and say how happy their rabbit is being confined all of it's poor life just so the person asking this question can feel good about the choice they've made to cage their active and intelligent pet rabbit.~Hey, stop being all sarcastic with each other. Even if you could speak rabbit... did you talk to this persons specific bunny? I don't think you did. So, I believe the asker is looking for signs that the bunny is content. Personally, my bunny, Blaze, loves his cage. I have the door open pretty much anytime I'm home so he can run around and after he gets his exercise, he goes straight to his cage to chill. He prefers staying in there over sitting in the living room or on my bed and he seems to choose his cage just as often as a few of his other favorite spots in my room despite being in his cage for hours when I'm sleeping or not home. The decisions that he makes like that, let me know that he is happy with his cage.A bunny must be let out of his cage as often as possible though because although I love hanging out in my room, of course I want and need to get out of it a fair amount of time and a bunny is no different. Also, if the bunny has space to jump, stretch out, eat, and poop, then he shouldn't mind chillin' in his cage when he has to. If he looks relaxed and lays on his side or back, that is a sign he's contented. :) Peace.

How do you convince your Dad to let you get a 2nd rabbit if he is really stubborn?

Better take the best care you can of the one you have. Never forget to feed or water it and always clean your bunnies cage without having to be told. Remember your Dad is the one who pays for the feed and other things your bunny needs. If he sees you are really responsible and capable of taking care of the bunny you have maybe he will let you have another one.

How do you get my parents to let me have a bunny?

I would save your money for the cage, the food, and the water bottle and all necessary supplies and come up with a plan on how you plan to care and take care of this animal so your parent's can trust you . You can make a written contract to explain on how you plan to care for this pet(bunny). If you fail to meet the needs of the contract then it is your parents decision whether or not you get to keep the Bunny. Best of Luck.
