I would describe a crocodile as green with bumps on its back while being mean and vicious.
The crocodile would win in water. On land, a 16 ft or bigger crocodile would be safe from a lion.
Since most crocs are larger and more aggressive, I would go with the crocodile.
It depends what species of shark and crocodile, and the idividual candidates. For example, the largest species of crocodile, the salt water, especially if it was a young powerful crocodile would easily defeat a baby nurse shark.
On land probably the Lion would have the upper hand, but near or in water the Lion would be doomed, the crocodile would drag the lion into water and drown the lion very quickly.
