Guinea pigs only become more tame if you love them and handle them regularly. Pick them up gently - one hand under its bottom and the other under its shoulders. Sit down with your piggie, stroke it and talk to it lots. If you do this regularly it will soon get to know you and will calm down. As well as doing this you could also buy it a friend to keep it company. There must be some reason why your piggie isn't completely happy.
