If it keeps biting you try rubbing your hands in his sawdust so you smell like his cage. He won't feel as threatened by you then and is less likely to bite you.
Wash your hand properly till the blood goes with an antiseptic liquid like detol, even after shave will do. and apply some vaseline so tht ur wound will dry fast. you dont have to consult a doctor or take any anti rabies injection since hamsters does not carry rabies virus.
If your hamster bites me and you start to bleed, put on on some antiseptic and you should be good. But if your hamster bites you and you don't bleed then, no need to worry about anything (i think anyway)
i know why you r looking on the enter-net your hamster just bit you you get a wet paper towel and wipe the blood if there is eney if no blood no need to read more next rube the bite until u feel like its not there if u feel in need to call a doctor do so try to get your hamster use to your scent before you pick up your hamster you wash your hands do so every time you pick up your hamster then your hammy will not bite you
If a hamster bites you you should wash your hands then hold it again. Alyays wash your hands before touching an animal.
you should wash the cut if its bleeding or not. if it does bleed, you probably have to get a tetanus shot. you are most likely going to be fine if you had a tetanus shot.
you yell OW
it hurts
If a rabbi's hamster bites you, the most you could do is attempt to sue for damages, you certainly could not have him shot!
Usually the hamster is cleaning its leg....cuzz i have 2 hamsters and 1 hamster always bites on the other one while its asleep, they are not fighting they are cleaning !!! but if the hamster bites through its leg and there's a red part you should take it too the vet
I think they're just hungry...
you open the door of the cage and cup your hands and try to pick him up from underneath if he/she bites you use gloves or a towel
on a hamster?or on you?................ well on a hamster you cant do much because they are so little,on a HUMAN well just keep ice on it and apply neosporin to the cut (this is for the HUMAN not hamster!)

If he bites you.

Wherever you were bitten will hurt that's it!
always get someone that is not scared to be biten like my classmate because my hamster bites and my classsmate is always playing with my hamster that's why my hamster do not bite everyone but sometimes he bites only but not everyday by kyanne Marie b. sapnu i am 10 years old thank you
No, probably not. A baby hamster is like a normal hamster, only smaller, and a baby. But my hamster used to bite me a lot and I didn't get infected. so, no you won't.
If they constantly bite each other then I would advise you to separate them.
It means hamsters unintelligent and suck - get a rat (seriously)
