If it keeps biting you try rubbing your hands in his sawdust so you smell like his cage. He won't feel as threatened by you then and is less likely to bite you.

Try petting it and it might make you feel better depends on what kind of person you are. If it is really deep or really bleeding hard, go to a doctor.Hope it gets better.
- Wash the cut out and clean it with soap. If the cut didn't break the skin I just wash my hands after I am done playing with it. When my hamster bites i heard you are supposed to tap it on the nose.
- Clean the cut throughly and apply antibiotic cream and put a bandage on it. It will heal from there on.

∙ 12y agoWash your hand properly till the blood goes with an antiseptic liquid like detol, even after shave will do. and apply some vaseline so tht ur wound will dry fast. you dont have to consult a doctor or take any anti rabies injection since hamsters does not carry rabies virus.

∙ 8y agoIf your hamster bites me and you start to bleed, put on on some antiseptic and you should be good. But if your hamster bites you and you don't bleed then, no need to worry about anything (i think anyway)

∙ 12y agoi know why you r looking on the enter-net your hamster just bit you you get a wet paper towel and wipe the blood if there is eney if no blood no need to read more next rube the bite until u feel like its not there if u feel in need to call a doctor do so try to get your hamster use to your scent before you pick up your hamster you wash your hands do so every time you pick up your hamster then your hammy will not bite you
