All rabbits have two 'holes.' One is the anal opening and the other is the genital. To determine the gender of a rabbit, follow this process:
If you push down (with a slow, gentle motion) around your rabbit's genitals a boy's penis will look like a human pinkie finger with a circular dot in the middle, while the girl's vagina will look come up like a slanted triangle, almost like lipstick, and it will have a vertical slit in it. Also, you sometimes can find big lumps next to the boy's genitals and sometimes you can find nipples on the girl's tummy. However if these features cannot be found, you cannot conclude the gender one way or the other, only the presence of them can determine anything.
If you lift up its tail and you see two holes its a girl if it only has one its a boy.
you can't until she has babies. i have a rabbit that came as a girl and then she turned into a boy and then a girl again and then a boy. i had another who was a boy until she had babies.
Around 3 months old or earlier, a boy rabbit will have testicles by his rear end. Just keep going down his stomach, and there should be 2 sack like things. A female does not have these. Females tend to have rounder heads than males.
A boy hamster will have a little penis, and a girl hamster has a small vagina. Hope this helpsIf it is a female it will have a hole right below its tail. and males have two holes that are further apart. To tell if your hamster is a boy or girl first look at its bottom a girl hamsters bottom is not attached on the sides the boys isYou pick up the hamster carefully and lay the hamster on his/her back. If you see two holes close together, its a girl. If you see one hole and one you know what, its a boy.The pet shop should tell you but if not you can go to the vets. Most pet shops sell boy hamsters anyway, they keep the girls for breeding.
Carefully turn them upside down and gently use your thumb and forefinger to carefully push up the fur away from their..."butt". Then slowly push down and you will see the "holes". For males, the upper hole should look like a circle-shaped hole. The females' upper holes should look like a tiny vertical line. If the rabbit is over 6 months old, the males should have two bumps under the upper hole.

Sexing your new bunny is important, especially if you recently adopted a pair of rabbits. If your rabbits are young, they should be separated by the time they are 3 months old to prevent accidental litters. It will also determine at what age you get your rabbit fixed, as males can be neutered at an earlier age. Let's start with the basics- where to look. If you hold your rabbit on his back, look at the underside, between the rear legs, near the base of the tail. While it isn't always obvious, there are two holes!
