Call the vet. There are several hormone replacement injections that can be used to convince the mare to accept her foal. If they fail, the vet can also advise you on how best to raise the foal.
Make sure your mare will nurse the foal, just take good care of the little guy, let him chill in the pasture, give him or her water... do you get the idea?
Oxytocin causes "milk let" down in a mare. NEVER give to a PREGNANT mare as it can cause the foal to be born prematurely or abort it!
If she is healthy and well kept, a mare can have a foal every year from age around 3. I personally know one mare who had a foal every year for 21 years, an another who had her last foal at age 33.
Is it in pain? If it's a mare, is there any chance she could be pregnant?
At about 3 to 4 months. You really need to separate the mother and foal when it is time to wean. The mother will nurse the foal for as long as a year if you let her. Most foals are weaned around 4-6 months of age. However, studys show that foals weaned too early are more likely to develope vices. The best thing to do would let the mare decide when it is time to wean. However, there are special cases such as if the mare is losing alot of weight even when you increase her calorie intake, and then you should wean the foal early.
I have never heard of a nurse mare foal. If a mare dies, leaving a newborn foal, some mares are very maternal and they will let another mare's foal nurse. If there is not a lactating mare available, a nanny goat is a good substitute.
This is not the best idea, but if a mare abandons her foal, yes, you can hand raise it. You will have to bottle feed and spend most of your time with it. This is very time consuming and hard work but it is rewarding in the end. If you hand raise a foal it will come very attached to you which may cause stubborness as the foal ages.

This is a good question. When a mare won't take care of her foal, its called foal rejection. It is more common than most people would think. For some reason that is not entirely clear, Arabians, especially first time moms, are more likely to reject the foal. It could be because they can be a little and this could play into it. But this is not something you can ignore and hope it gets better. It might, but it might not. The best way to help is to tie the mare so she can't move away. Then bring the baby up to the mare's side and let him nurse. Be careful so the mare can't swing her back end around and kick you or the baby. Most mares, once they get used to it, they don't try to kick out at anyone.
she is worried you are going to harm her foal approach her slowley and do not make sudden movements have a treat(apple or carrot etc.....)DO NOT touch her foal let them bond she may kick, bit, run away etc....... if she does do not run after her or away from her and do not make sudden movements
waxing is when a few days before a mare is about to foal she will have a kind of waxy stuff coming out of her udder it will help let you tell when she is ready to foal this most likely will happen a few days before foaling
If you mean on Howrse , then you can sell your horse , or you can let the foal die and lose a Karma point :0

try puting food out for your older mare and then putting food on the otherside of your pasture for your other mare
