Tigers have been endangered since the British colonised India and began hunting them as trophies.
This was compounded by the spread of human activity into the wild areas where tigers have traidtionally lived... as agriculture spread out into former jungle territory.
Well in 1987 according to the biological statistics of Australlian Universty of Denwo which recorded the rate in which tigers were being reproduced had dropped drastically. They had proved that in Australlia the tiger had begun to be on the endangered species list by 1989. Also due to the illegal poachery in Australlia the tiger were put on the endangered species list.

No tigers are endangered species that answer makes no sense at all endangered species mean there is a small amount of them and yes tigers are going extinct because there being killed and only about 3,200 left
Three reasons why tigers are getting endangered are as follows: 1. Every second about hundreds of tigers are being hunted or shot. 2. They are hunted for their skin/fur, claw, teeth etc. 3. As many forests are being cleared, many tigers die every year without a place to live.
