Is rabbit faster than horse?

it depends on the individual animal. One rabbit in the world can probably run faster than one dog in the world, but one dog in the world can run faster than one rabbit in the world, i am guessing, but it might no be so. You should ask next time: "Are the average of rabbits faster than the average dog?"

Is it cruel to feed a snake live prey?

It depends on your point of view. Animal rights followers think it's cruel - HOWEVER - in their natural environment, snakes do NOT consume carrion. They only eat what they have killed themselves. Compare the death of a rat killed by a snake - with the death of a rabbit targeted by a fox... The snake strikes at the rodent, instantaneously 'wrapping' the rat in its coils. As the rat breathes out, the snake tightens its grip - and the process is repeated until the rat is dead. The whole process takes less than 10 seconds - and the rat certainly has no idea what's happened ! Now - the rabbit being hunted by the fox - is chased over a longer period of time (often for many miles). The fox simply runs the rabbit until it collapses from exhaustion (the rabbit runs out of fear for its life). Once caught, the fox rips the rabbit apart (sometimes the rabbit is still alive).

Are britney spaniels good for rabbit hunting?

Yes. Mine has helped me get more rabbits than she has quail. She will point them if they try to hide, she yips and flushes if they try to run. I think she likes rabbits more than birds sometimes. You just have to be careful with your shots as a Britt is much faster than a beagle and can be right on the rabbit's tail in the chase.
