I volunteer at a barn and they have a Mustang and she is a great horse to ride, but if you get a mustang you have to remember that they will always be a mustang, and wild one at that.
Mustangs are inexpensive horses for a number of reasons. They tend to be fairly short and are wild, which often means that they will have some health issues.
Adopt a Wild Mustang is a great group that tries getting many of these horses placed. They have a few kind of silly rules, but the bulk of their effort is honest and well meaning. You will never be sorry adopting one of these horses. Mustangs are the best $125 you will ever spend!
To get a 'good' headset you'll have to train the horse to hold it's head in the position you want it to. But you should note that a horses conformation will ultimately dictate how a horse carries itself. Trying to force a horse into an 'incorrect' frame for it's conformation will lead to health issues later on.
Mustangs are still horses but they are wild they are kind of like the dogs at pounds and rescues you might never know what kind of breeds are mixed in with them you could guess but you will probaly never know the spesifics. Take my horse for an exemple! we got her at an auction, but she was from a rescue in the West we think she is Morgan/mustang cross meaning a Morgan horse and a mustang meaning possibly all kinds of different breeds.
Depending on the standerbreds temperament it can make a good riding horse. But is preferably a more 'Cart pulling' horse and trotting horses.
a good show name for your horse Mystic is "Mystical legend" What about "Mystic shades of Gray"? Or "Mystical Dance"??
not really but she is good horse riding competer
Basically, the Mustang is a compact, strong and sturdy horse from the west of the United States which desended from the horses brought by the spanish. In the related links box below I posted a good link on the color variety of the Mustang horse.
They are good for many, many things although some are better than others in different classes.. My friend owns a Mustang and does endurance, jumping, and dressage with her Mustang. Mustangs also make good friends if you train them right.
Between 20 and 30 years if given good care.
I have a mustang and have asked my farrier as well as my vet. they both say they to leave him barefoot as long as his/her feet are in good shape Phyllis in TEXAS
train your horse and get bonuses for him/her...horses with good gp are best =D
well they are especially good trail horses, they can recognize danger VERY fast......but almost any diciplin is possible.
you have to know the horse. it depends on its personality. if its wild, calm, shy, hiper....learn about training them before hand and find outabout the horse, get to know it. GOOD LUCK!
you buy a young horse, train it up to become a good showjumper/dressage horse/ hunter and sell it before it gets old.
Of course you can. Any horse can be trained. You need to have patience. To train a wild horse or any bad horses, you need to practice hard by doing the same thing to the horse a dozen of times. You have to be patient and gentle with the horse, so that it could trust you. Most people hurt the horses if they dont listen to them. That is wrong. What you can do is to learn the horse, be patient with it, and offer it a pat or any treats when he/she does a good job.JY
HorseIsle.com is pretty good. You can catch the horses and train them and ride them, trade and do quests. Really fun.

If you buy a cheap good horse then put all your bm items on him or her and then fully train her/ him.
