Viper is a type of snake and their are different types, also called Natters or Adders in Germanic areas. The term Viper is rather lose. The Puff Adder, considered in the Viper group can puff up its head like a Cobra and hiss, but is non-venomous. other types of Viper such as the Gaboon, are indeed poisonous reptiles. Viper is used in poetic license for any large snake known to be dangerous, like the originally French usage of Requiem sharks- maybe they go out of their way to eat dead bodies! it is more of a flag of convenience, Vipers. Viper-Fire refers to synchronized, angle-aiming automatic weapons fire- and was used in Vietnam. Viper-fire was often conducted from helicopters, firing machine guns in short but destructive bursts. the sound effect of Viper Fire was used in the recording of the Star Wars theme.
Talk to your doctor about this. He or she probably has someone who you can be referred to for this issue. It is good that you are taking an active approach to this though and any cancer should be able to be spotted before it is very serious.
The longest venomous snake in the world is the King Cobra, with one specimen reaching over 18.5 feet long. Several other venomous snakes - such as the bushmaster, eastern diamondback rattlesnake, or gaboon viper - may reach a greater weight than the king cobra even though they are much shorter. The appropriate word to use is "venomous", not "poisonous", because venom refers to a toxin that is injected by the animal, whereas poisonous animals are those who spread their toxin by being ingested or through contact with the skin.

The story that a snake in Viet Nam (or Libya according to my husband) is so poisonous that you will only take two steps after being bitten has been circulating for years. Whether it's two steps or ten it mainly designates that the snake is deadly...there is no specific snake or country...
