I can't say it is GOOD, but it is OK. If your piggy poops alot, don't worry! Because it just naturally happens at some point. You can't force a guinea pig to hold in it's poop, right? So clean your guinea pigs cage weekly. But spot clean the part that your guinea pigs poops/pees in daily. Because you might be surprised how messy it can get in just 12 hours! So, clean your guinea pig's cage, 'cause it might smell. Hope this helped!

∙ 12y agoNo, it just means that you are feeding the guinea pig too much. I have a guinea pig that had the same thing, but now that I feed him less. Like I said before, your guinea pig should be fine. Another reason why might be because they poo more when they are frightened or scared. I had the same thing.

∙ 14y agoI'm not sure what you mean big large but all of my guinea pigs poop are the size of a tic-tac. it kinda looks like a chocolate tic-tac.

Hey!!! I own a dog and 2 guinea pigs. I say that while guinea pigs are fun, they poop. ALOT. So maybe a dog.. but dogs need a yearly checkup and vaccines (pain in the wallet) and guinea pigs don't. Maybe you should try rabbits. They're bigger that guinea pigs, but smaller than (some!) dogs. Also they don't have to see the vet often, but can spread ear mites causing sicknesses to other animals like dogs. ----P.S. My dog almost died from our rabbit that we had and we still have our dog now. (Poor Fluffy!)
