Well, It's never really too late to break a horse in. Some horses maybe easier then others. It also depends on the relationship you have with her. Younger horses are easier to break, but six is still pretty young. If you are inexperienced with training then I would consult a responsible trainer first and read up on it. I've broke a 14 year old Morgan before and he turned out to be a great lesson horse and upper level dressage horse. Good luck. Happy training!!!!!!
The oldest horse on record to give birth to a foal is a 42-year-old Thoroughbred mare named Moti, who foaled in 1954. Typically, mares can continue to produce foals into their late teens or early twenties.
The last emergence of the periodical cicadas (Brood X) was in 2021. The next emergence of this particular brood is predicted to occur in 2038.
No they build a new nest for each brood. However they may use the same nest site year after year.
A horse under the age of one is called a foal. Once it is one year old, it is called a yearling.
That depend on the mare.... if she has had a foal before and is having regular cycles it might be OK. If she has never had a foal before its not a good idea. The mares uterus looses its elasticity when they get older. I know of lots of older mares that have had beautiful healthy foals..... but I know of even more old mares that will no longer get in foal. Its really up to your mare and your vet. Good Luck!

First of all, a FEMALE HORSE is called a MARE. A MARE that has given birth is called a BROOD MARE. A horse after FOALING is called (female or mare...) a filly. (Until a year old) at a year both mares & males,,, are called yearlings. A MALE foal is called a COLT. (& then is called a yearling at exactly a year old also a colt still.) After a year of age, the YEARLING COLT goes back to be called COLT. After the FILLY is exactly 2 years old, then it is called a MARE. MARES are not really ready to breed till 3 years of age. once they have been bred, (optional) then it is called a BROOD MARE for the rest if its life. When a colt has passed its 2 years, (if you have castrated him) He is called a Gelding. If you decide to keep him as a bachelor, He is called a STALLION. [-:

Brood X Year of the Cicada - 2006 was released on: USA: 20 March 2006
1993, late July
Normally the first brood is raised in May or June, depending on how far south you live. In northern areas, such as New York or Maine, one brood per year is raised, usually in mid to late June. In states like NC, SC, Tn, two broods are raised, first one in mid may, then again in late June.
maybe it can or not that depends on how the mare is born
In some areas, like in the south, robins are double brooded, but build a new nest for the second brood.
No he did not. They are still engaged and soon to have a wedding late this year or early next year.
Most species raise one brood a year.
