No, it is not safe for hamsters because tape is just like cotton, the hamster cannot digest it, if you use tape it may cause harm to your hamster because it will cause blocking in your hamsters body.

∙ 13y agoI personaly dont think it is good because they can eat it and get sick or get stuck to the tape or there is something in the ashedive that makes them sick.

Oh, no no no. The substance the tape is made from can and probably will build up in their guts and throat, causing anything form suffocation to lung irritation, cancer, corrosion to stomach lining, actual rips in the digestive track. If they just nibbled off like a little bit or something, it probably won't even have an effect. But if they like full on ate a bunch, there wouldn't be much you could do.
