If a human takes on a tiger in a game of Chess, then I strongly suspect the human will win, even if the human is an inexperienced player, there is still a good chance the human can win. If the phrase "take on" means, to arm wrestle, then the tiger has a much better chance of winning in this type of event. Although the human may loose more than just the contest, their fingers, hand, even elbow might be the price. But then that is the risk you assume when you grab a tiger by the paw! If "take on" means a foot and paw race, this may be more equal in the beginning, but once the race starts, I think the tiger's attention will be focused more on the humans movements than on the checkered flag. But a quick peak on the serious side;If it means something like, adopting wild tigers in some manner or sharing the responsibility of protecting tigers, then I think that both tigers and humans would both benefit from any type of organized programs dedicated to assisting the endangered tigers.
