No. Dog bite strength is proportional to the size of the dog. There are dog breeds larger than pit bulls. Therefore, there are dogs with stronger bites than pit bulls.
Nope. The "lock jaw" you are referring to does not exist, it is a myth.
There are 2 types of real "lock jaw" out there though:
1. An illness called Tetanus (http://www.seefido.com/canine-dog-health/html/dog_tetanus.htm)
2. A comic book character "An Inhuman transformed into the shape of a dog by the terrigen Mists" (http://www.comicvine.com/lockjaw/29-3534/)
So unless you want to give your dog tetanus or make him hang out in the terrigen myths, I wouldn't "train your dog to lock its jaw"
I have owned Pit bulls and other terriers. I have had this discussion with my best friend who also owns pit bulls.
We exhausted every avenue of "lock-jaw". Read every thing we could find about lock jaw and asked numerous Vets.
They all had the same ......No dog on this earth has "lock-jaw". The only case of a dog having lock-jaw was a dog with tetanus lock-jaw, it is very rare that a dog gets this type of disease , that is the only type of lock-jaw a dog may get. It's a medical condition , nothing to do with the actual "lock-jaw"
I hope this ed your question...there is no such thing as a dog with "lock-jaw". Its a myth.
Check out this site, its the one we found to be most creditable and he confirmed the "lock-jaw" myth

The saltwater crocodile has the most powerful jaws in relation to its size in the animal kingdom. This species has a bite force that can exceed 3,700 pounds per square inch, allowing it to take down large prey with ease.
Some of the dogs with the most powerful bite force include the Kangal, Caucasian Shepherd, Rottweiler, and Mastiff breeds. These dogs have strong jaw muscles and bite forces that can exceed 300 pounds of pressure. It's important to remember that bite force isn't the only determining factor in a dog's temperament and behavior.
The lion has a more powerful jaw compared to the hyena. Lions have strong jaw muscles that allow them to deliver a powerful bite to take down prey. They have a bite force of around 600 pounds per square inch, while a hyena's bite force is around 1000 pounds per square inch.
The Dogo Argentino is known to have the strongest jaws among the three breeds mentioned. They were bred for hunting large game, so they have a powerful bite force. Rottweilers and Presa Canarios also have strong jaws, but they typically do not match the bite force of the Dogo Argentino.
Lions have a muscular body with strong legs for running and hunting. They have a large head with powerful jaws and sharp teeth for catching and killing prey. Lions have a distinctive mane that varies in color and size among individuals, with males typically having fuller manes. Their fur is typically a tawny yellow color, providing camouflage in their habitat.
pobably crocodiles...as they are big and strong and also have the most powerful jaws in reptiles.

Crocodiles eat through their mouths, like most advanced animals. They have very powerful jaws and teeth.
No dog in this world can kill a wolve. Wolves are wild and can kill alot of things in there path. People might say some dogs hunt wolves but they dont mean kill them. They mean track them down. Hunt means "Track down." If they said, "They hunt and kill," then that would mean they could kill that kind of animal. So it's obvious, wolves can kill dogs. Dogs can't kill wolves, Wolves jaws are WAY! more powerful then dogs a wolves jaws are clocked at 878 lbs. The kind of dogs highest jaws in the world was 723 lbs. Also wolves are much stronger. You might not know how much mroe powerful a wolve is then a dog.
Jawless fish are cartilaginous, but they do not have jaws. Class Chondrichthyes, which contains most cartilaginous fish, like sharks, have powerful jaws.
Most carnivores that kill with jaws shake their heads violently whilst doing so. The jaws inflict far greater damage that way.
The African Hyena. Its jaws are very strong and there is a possibility one strong bite can break a lion's bones
