A typical Meerkat's diet consists of worms, crickets, grasshoppers, small rodents, lizards, small snakes, birds, eggs, fruit, and ant larvae (which they especially love). When foraging for food they spread out to get the most out of their area and when they find a meal they usually eat it on the spot since they're in such small portions. So Meerkats must compete against one another in a sense in order to find a meal. Other than that their competition is against any other Kalahari Desert inhabitants that eat the same things they do. Nearly every other species that lives in the same area as the Meerkat competes for the same food. The Meerkats have the advantage of numbers, a great sense of smell, amazing digging abilities, and the unbelievable immunity to most venom. If I had to specify, I'd say snakes were their toughest competition when it comes to getting a meal, even though the snake often becomes the meal.
well tbh they eat just about anything, they eat fruit, roots, eggs, bugs, (termites, beetles, &grubs etc..) and meerkats also like to eat scorpions but they sometimes get stung. They eat alot of things humans do :)
Meerkats primarily eat insects, but sometimes they also eat Spiders, eggs, lizards, or plants. They also eat scorpions since they are immune to it's poison.
not exactly, they mainly east grass and roots, but they also eat bugs and insects.
Spoonbills compete with numerous other birds for food, as many birds eat fish.
As you know, organisms are split into 2 groups - Animals and plants. Plants compete for: Water Nutrients from the soil Sunlight for photosynthesis Space to grow Animals compete for: Food Water Shelter from predators A mate to produce offspring Hope it helps
they compete so they can suvive and reproduce
When an organism cannot compete, it will die. In the natural world, it is survival of the fittest. This is good because it keeps the population in check. If too many carnivores are living, the herbivores die-if too many herbivores are living, the carnivores will overrun and the resources will run out. It's the cycle of life.
Raccoons are known to share various habitats and food with species such as woodchucks and skunk. They are likely to compete for den space and food with Opossums. They also may compete with cats for food at night in a rural area.

what animal does a tarantula cmpete with
Every animal competes in a food chain
Deer (herbivores) and foxes (omnivores).
It's the inherent nature of the animal to compete for there food. They are generally deprived of the feeds and what ever they happen to find, makes them compete for getting to there belly. Every animal is bound to protect ones food as soon as it finds it and make his eating a secrete mission. Whosoever comes in their way of food is thought by them to be a competitor.
Animals usually only compete for food and/or mating rights. However if the animal is domestic and a new animal comes to the household, the two may compete for attention.
Cougars compete with any other animal that is hunting for the same food as the cougar, hope I helped! ^-^ I'm doing a cougar project in Science so that's how I know ;)
