A typical Meerkat's diet consists of worms, crickets, grasshoppers, small rodents, lizards, small snakes, birds, eggs, fruit, and ant larvae (which they especially love). When foraging for food they spread out to get the most out of their area and when they find a meal they usually eat it on the spot since they're in such small portions. So Meerkats must compete against one another in a sense in order to find a meal. Other than that their competition is against any other Kalahari Desert inhabitants that eat the same things they do. Nearly every other species that lives in the same area as the Meerkat competes for the same food. The Meerkats have the advantage of numbers, a great sense of smell, amazing digging abilities, and the unbelievable immunity to most venom. If I had to specify, I'd say snakes were their toughest competition when it comes to getting a meal, even though the snake often becomes the meal.
In its food chain, a coyote may compete with animals such as foxes, bobcats, and raccoons for similar food sources, including small mammals, birds, and carrion. Additionally, larger predators like mountain lions can also compete indirectly by preying on the same animals that coyotes hunt. This competition can influence coyote behavior and territory as they seek to secure enough resources.
When members of a species compete, they typically compete for resources such as food, water, shelter, and mates. These resources are essential for survival and reproduction, driving competition among individuals within the population.
As you know, organisms are split into 2 groups - Animals and plants. Plants compete for: Water Nutrients from the soil Sunlight for photosynthesis Space to grow Animals compete for: Food Water Shelter from predators A mate to produce offspring Hope it helps
The seagulls.
Usually, they growl and just try to scare you away from their next meal. Then they will charge at you and possibly bite you to make you go away. Sometimes, when the larger, more aggressive animal is fighting with you, another of the same type of animal will snatch the food away and run off with it.

what animal does a tarantula cmpete with
Every animal competes in a food chain
Deer (herbivores) and foxes (omnivores).
It's the inherent nature of the animal to compete for there food. They are generally deprived of the feeds and what ever they happen to find, makes them compete for getting to there belly. Every animal is bound to protect ones food as soon as it finds it and make his eating a secrete mission. Whosoever comes in their way of food is thought by them to be a competitor.
Animals usually only compete for food and/or mating rights. However if the animal is domestic and a new animal comes to the household, the two may compete for attention.
Other Beavers and anything that will try to destroy its Dam
Cougars compete with any other animal that is hunting for the same food as the cougar, hope I helped! ^-^ I'm doing a cougar project in Science so that's how I know ;)
Predation is when a organism known as a predator hunts another animal for food known as prey. Competition is when organisms compete for the same food source.
Lions and leopards compete with the cheetah for many of the same prey animals.
