Why does moro reflex occur in children?

Actual reason is unknown, but conjecture is that it is an attempt to grab its mother as it begins to fall.

How long birth in dachshunds take?

The birthing process takes any where from about two to eight hours. Usually there is about 30 minutes between puppies. Although this is just an estimate. I have seen puppies delivered back to back and two hours apart. As long as the mom is not in distress or severe pain there really is no reason to worry.

My guinea pig is going to get put to sleep what do you do?

Well if your guinea pig is going to get put to sleep its probably for a good reason. Most vets do not put healthy guinea pigs to sleep, so your pet probably has a health problem that they can't do anything about and don't want the animal to suffer. If this isn't the reason than it would be inhumane to put the animal to sleep and you should object to it. Make apparent your strong disapproval of this situation, and how heartless and cruel it is, play on their guilt.

What might it mean if your rabbit is wheezing but showing no signs of distress?

Wheezing IS a sign of distress. Rabbits shouldn't make any noise when they breathe. If your rabbit is breathing through its mouth (rather than its nose), that is also a very serious sign of distress (even if it isn't wheezing or making noise).Wheezing or any sign of difficulty breathing could indicate a respiratory infection, or an injury or obstruction of some kind. It's a good idea to bring your rabbit to your vet the moment you notice something is wrong. The thing about bunnies is that when they aren't feeling well (for any reason), they can deteriorate really quickly -- more than cats, dogs, and humans, for instance. If you don't have a vet already, make sure you find one who has experience with rabbits. The House Rabbit Society website has some good info and vet listings if you need help with that. It's really important to find a rabbit-savvy vet because most vets don't know about how to treat them. For example, I've heard of vets putting pet rabbits down for having "snuffles," but that's just an upper respiratory infection and can usually be treated with a dose of antibiotics.

What does Aristotle mean by rational animal?

He meant that man has a reason for his actions. So whatever humans do, they do so for a desired outcome, hence a reason. No matter how small, there is A REASON!
